Bio

Alice is a fabric artist, working primarily in feltmaking. She creates wearable abstract landscape in the form of scarves, collars, hats, vests and jackets as well as interior design pieces such as kimonos, throws, wall hangings, tea cozies and lights.

Alice uses a variety of raw wools selected for their felting characteristics, texture and wearability. The wools are hand-dyed to provide a wide palette range, and then hand-felted by layering and building up colour and texture to realize the intended design.

Alice lives in Vancouver, British Columbia, and works and teaches out of her home studio.
